Term 3 PENN movie

Kia Orana viewers, every Tuesday and Thursday Team 5 students go down to Tamaki college for tech.  This is a highlights movie about what we get up to when we are down there.  Thanks heaps to Tamaki College for making this experience amazing for our learners.

Task description: Today in Miss Tele'a class we were learning about Precious McKenzie. He wanted to become a weight lifter in the Olympics but back in the days people were racist so he couldn't qualify.

Room 1 PENN Term 1

This term we have been working on team building activities and this is one of them.  We did the marshmallow and spaghetti tower activity.  These are some highlights below.

The GI Pitch Perfect

This year our space 'The Block' loves singing and we love the movie 'Pitch Perfect' we decided that we would make our own version of the movie.

The movie Pitch Perfect is based on singing acapella (only using your mouth to make noise).  We loved making this movie and had so much fun.  We hope you enjoy!

 

Chicken Noodle Soup

Today we got to move our body again. On a cold and rainy day we needed chicken noodle soup to warm up. I made up this dance with my friend.

PENN Term 1 2018 - Day in the life of a Block Kid

This year we have a massive space!  We have got 79 amazing children and 3 teachers.  This is the day in the life of a 'block kid'.  We want school to be FUN everyday!  We hope you enjoy.

The Pav 2017

2017 was such an amazing year with an incredible group of kids.  We had so much fun and did so many cool things.  This is a song that these children wrote together.  They were incredibly proud of what they had accomplished so were the rest of us!  We will miss the class of 2017!
