PENN Term 1 2018 - Day in the life of a Block Kid

This year we have a massive space!  We have got 79 amazing children and 3 teachers.  This is the day in the life of a 'block kid'.  We want school to be FUN everyday!  We hope you enjoy.

The Pav 2017

2017 was such an amazing year with an incredible group of kids.  We had so much fun and did so many cool things.  This is a song that these children wrote together.  They were incredibly proud of what they had accomplished so were the rest of us!  We will miss the class of 2017!

The Battle of GI

Hey Jane, have you heard about the dance battle in GI?

No, please tell me more.

I saw a notice lying around at Pt England School.

I got moves for it don’t you think?

Oh wow, you do have the moves, you should enter the competition.

We hope you enjoy our movie.

This year we have some amazingly creative students in the pavilion, we love dancing. We created the script and did most of the choreography ourselves. We hope you enjoy!

The Pav Productions

In our class we love having fun and making movies, we love the song Wairua.  We made a remake of the song with our very own children.  Thanks Mr Wiseman for all your help!  We'd love to hear what you think, leave us a comment.

Aunty Trina

On the 14 of August Aunty Trina came to visit us and we were all talking and sitting on the mat and what we were learning about the solar system that is in space. I got to talk with her and said to here that what I know now is that Mercury is not the hottest planet because Venus is the hottest than all the planet. So that what I said to her and she was the best lady I ever seen in the whole wide world. She is beautiful. Thanks for coming to visit Aunty Trina please come back we would love you to come back so please come back Aunty Trina.

Samoan Language Week

It has just recently been Samoan language week.  Every so often, in the classroom, magic happens.  I was lucky enough to capture this magic in our classroom.  Singing and performing is such an important part of our children's lifes! Lets celebrate it!
